What data we collect
We collect only the data you choose to give us through the contact form: name, email address, the organisation or project you indicate and the text of your request. They are used solely to answer you and to follow up on your request. No accounts, newsletters or payments exist on this site.
Like every website, the hosting provider records technical access data (IP address, time, pages requested, browser type) in server logs, for security and operation.
The planetary hours calculator
The Chaldean week tool computes sunrise and sunset in your browser. When you type a place name, that name is sent to the geocoding service of Open-Meteo (open-meteo.com) to obtain its coordinates and time zone; no other data travels with it. If you press “My position”, your browser asks your permission and the coordinates are used only on your device: they are never sent to us or to any server.
Third-party providers
Netlify, Inc. hosts the site, processes access logs and receives the contact form submissions (Netlify Forms), which it stores and forwards to us by email. Google Fonts delivers the typefaces, and the request discloses your IP address to Google. Open-Meteo answers the place searches of the calculator. Some of these providers are established outside the European Union: any transfer of data takes place under the safeguards provided by the GDPR, such as standard contractual clauses.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies and uses no tracking, analytics or advertising tools. For this reason no consent banner is shown.
Legal basis and retention
Replying to your emails rests on the pre-contractual measures you request and on our legitimate interest in answering you. We keep your messages for the time needed to handle the request and to meet any legal obligation, then delete them. Server logs are kept by the hosting provider for the short period required for security.
Your rights
At any time you may ask to access your data, rectify or erase them, restrict or object to their processing, and withdraw consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
